Fast and Easy Orange Chicken
I'm obsessed with the Orange Chicken at Panda Express... like really obsessed. I would eat it everyday if it wasn't expensive and terrible for me. Someone I work with gave me a recipe for honey chicken using precooked frozen popcorn chicken and the first thing I said was "Oh my goodness I'm going to try making my own Orange Chicken"! I made this one other time before making it to post on this blog and it was INCREDIBLE !! The only change I made to the recipe I am posting is that I added a bit more red pepper flakes for an added kick.
Here's what you will need:
Foil
Half a bag of frozen popcorn chicken
1/2 cup orange marmalade
1/2 cup of honey
I tablespoon of vinegar ( I used a honey balsamic but rice wine would be great too)
1/4 teaspoon of crushed red pepper
A pinch of ground ginger
A dash of onion powder
A dash of garlic powder
Preheat oven to 425 or as directed on chicken package.Put all of your ingredients (except chicken) into one large mixing bowl and mix together your mixture will look something like this...
Now for the fun part, toss in pieces of chicken and begin to stir until all pieces are coated.

Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and place chicken so that no pieces are touching.
Pop in the oven and bake according to the time on the chicken package. Mine was about 8 minutes. Once done remove the chicken from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before enjoying. Serve over rice or noodles. Yummy!

...Start a Blog.
Hello. My name is Jennah. I am the youngest of four daughters. My sisters are Melissa, Tamara and Shanna and together we are creating this blog. I also have two nieces who will also be a part of She and Her Sisters, their names are Britney and Samantha. So yes technically it should be called She and Her Sisters and Nieces but that doesn’t really roll of the tongue now does it? It is my hope that this blog will live to serve as a creative outlet for my over-stressed sisters and as a way to keep us all connected through our shared interest (which is just about everything). We all love to create; whether it’s crafting, jewelry, cooking, baking, decorating, or party planning. We also adore all things beauty and fashion so creating this blog seemed like a way of pulling together all of our ideas and talents. We are by no means proficient writers (I had to used spell check on the word proficient) we are simply women who want to share with others what we already share with one another, our ideas.
